Bio: Stefan C. Ionescu was a Research Fellow at Duke University’s Center for European Studies (2015-2016), a Visiting Lecturer and Research Associate at Chapman University (2013-2015) and Adjunct Assistant Professor of History at Elon University, USA (2015-2016), where he taught courses on Holocaust and genocide and European history. Ionescu holds a Ph.D. in history from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is the author of several book chapters and articles in such journals as Holocaust Studies: A Journal of Culture and History and Culture and Psychology. Ionescu’s book, entitled Jewish Resistance to Romanianization: 1940-1944, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2015.
